See below to find out relevant information and resources in regards to Elder Services.
ELDER SERVICES
In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the Elder Law Unit continues to prioritize all protective services referrals from local elder services organizations. Elder services organizations in our service area include:
AgeSpan (formerly Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore)” https://agespan.org/
SeniorCare https://seniorcareinc.org/
Greater Lynn Senior Services https://www.glss.net/
The Elder Law Unit is also focusing on nursing home discharge and transfers, MassHealth long term care applications and denials, housing eviction cases (preferably at the Notice to Quit stage in an effort to engage earlier in the case and prior to court action) and denials of SSDI/SSI benefits.
Staff of the Elder Law Unit are available for telephonic conferences and referrals to those callers who may need more immediate assistance.
